The small town of Mossyrock is only a couple miles from Paradise Point. It has a police station, gas station, grocery store, several restaurants and bars, theater, movie rental, hardware store, and several shopping opportunities. Mossyrock holds an annual Blueberry Festival every summer.
Morton and Packwood are historic logging towns east of Mossyrock further into the mountains and have a distinctive mountain life feel. Morton holds their nationally known Loggers Jubilee every summer and Packwood becomes a winter wonderland for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Even Seattle and Portland (and much of the Washington coast) are within a couple hours drive.
